The winners of the CIPD Awards in Northern Ireland have been announced, celebrating outstanding achievements in the people profession. The awards recognise organisations and professionals who have demonstrated innovation, excellence and a commitment to driving positive change in workplaces across Northern Ireland  

Held at Titanic Belfast and hosted by Emer Maguire, the event welcomed 350 attendees, bringing together HR, L&D and OD teams from across Northern Ireland, to celebrate the best in the profession.  

 

Who won at the CIPD Awards in Northern Ireland? 

Among the winners was Jaye Nangle from The LYCRA Company, who won the Best HR Student award. The judges were highly impressed by how Jaye used her CIPD learning to solve real workplace problems. They also noted her credibility, strategic mindset and commitment to developing her career 

"I'm honoured to be named Best HR Student. Thank you to the team at The LYCRA Company for supporting my journey of continuous learning to create positive workplaces. I look forward to using this experience to shape my HR career."

Elsewhere, global technology firm Thales won the highly acclaimed Best HR Team accolade after impressing the judges with the way in which it successfully meets a wide range of needs for both the business and its vast workforce. The organisation also won best apprenticeship scheme for nurturing talent through its innovative STEM-based apprenticeship programme and the company’s dedication to nurturing talent and fostering a high-performing people strategy.
