The winners of the CIPD People Management Awards 2024 have been announced, with people teams from across the UK, Ireland and Middle East impressing judges with their impact on work and working lives.
A judging panel of 69 leaders from across the people profession scrutinised hundreds of entries across 22 categories, reflecting the range of issues impacting the people profession today. Each entry was judged for the teams’ ability to demonstrate how they have embedded the professional values of the CIPD Profession Map in their work.
The biggest winners at this year’s awards were Equinity, who scooped three awards, and Bank of Ireland, who took home two awards. Equinity, a financial services provider, won ‘Best health and wellbeing initiative - private sector’, ‘Best HR/ L&D & OD team of the year - private sector’ and ‘Best people analytics initiative’.
Bank of Ireland won ‘Best change management initiative’ and ‘Best digital/technology initiative in HR/L&D’.
The calibre of work the judges reviewed was so strong this year that, alongside the 22 winning entries, a further 11 entries were ‘Highly commended’. Dubai Police Headquarters and npower Business Solutions both secured two of these accolades.
