Our National Committee and Regional Committees are a way in which volunteers can get involved in CIPD activity in Ireland. They support the CIPD on learning activity, promoting membership, hosting events and progressing our public policy agenda. The Regional Committees work collaboratively and have a representative on the National Committee, encouraging engagement in line with our mission.

Why get involved?

Our National and Regional committees welcome volunteers. They tell us it feels great to support and connect their professional community. They recommend the chance to:

  • gain practical experience and take on new challenges
  • develop leadership and professional knowledge
  •  meet new people and broaden your professional network
  • contribute your insights to CIPD initiatives, research and perspectives
  • give back to your community and to our profession.

Volunteering builds skills that contribute to your CPD and career journey.
