  • The term ‘leave’ is used to refer to statutory rights to time off work and can cover annual leave, maternity leave, adoption leave, paternity leave, parental leave, force majeure leave, carer's leave, jury service and redundancy and also contractual entitlement to compassionate leave and sick leave.
