George Hanna is the CIPD’s Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), stepping up to the role in November 2025 after three years as Regional Head of Market Development. With over 17 years of experience in workforce development, organisational effectiveness and professional qualifications, he has held senior leadership roles in globally recognised organisations, leading HR and learning initiatives across diverse international markets. George leads our vision to champion better work and working lives across the Middle East and North Africa, collaborating with public and private sector organisations, strategic partners, and most importantly our members to turn that vision into impact.
