People professionals have a key role in tackling bullying, harassment and workplace conflict. This includes educating people so that everyone understands what constitutes bullying and harassment, providing clear policies and training, as well as doing what’s necessary to build a culture based on dignity, trust and respect.

This guide aims to outline the main aspects of this role, building upon CIPD research on workplace incivility and conflict, and offering practical advice on tackling bullying, harassment and managing workplace conflict and other dispute resolution approaches.
