Learn, collaborate and network with CIPD members and people professionals in South East Wales
Welcome to the CIPD Branch in South East Wales page. I’m Natalie, and I’m proud to serve as Branch Chair for the CIPD South East Wales Branch. Having worked in the learning and development field since 2008, I am passionate about supporting organisations across the public, private and third sectors to grow leadership, management, and people capability.
My enthusiasm for the people profession runs through everything I do. We get to make a difference to the experience people have in work, and that is so important. I’m thrilled to be able to use my expertise to support the SE Wales branch and our members. Our branch is committed to ensuring our members feel supported, connected, and inspired; creating conversations and hearing about your successes and your challenges as we go.
Alongside the rest of our fantastic committee, our fellow branch teams, and the whole of CIPD, I am excited to provide opportunities to share best practice, build networks, and explore the issues shaping our profession here in Wales.

Our members rate their access to a local branch in their top three membership benefits. Come along to our branch events to discover other CIPD benefits. Explore the issues and trends impacting our profession. Network, learn and share ideas with people professionals in our area.
Our programme of events run from September to May, with face-to-face events taking place in Cardiff. We also include virtual events to ensure members from across our area, and beyond, can engage with us.
The aim of our programme is to support our members with their professional development and ensure there are networking and peer support opportunities.
If you have any ideas or suggestions regarding subjects you would like to see covered, please let us know.
We are always looking for passionate individuals to join our committee each May when we hold our annual meeting. Joining the committee is a great way to expand your network and learn and share skills. If you are interested learning more about the opportunities on offer, then please have a chat with a committee member at our next event or contact us by email.
With workshops, round tables, panel discussions and expert speakers, our thought-provoking events cover everything our community needs. Network, learn and stay up to date.
