Get involved with CIPD Birmingham! Whether you're a generalist, specialist, an experienced practitioner or just starting out, we offer a range of events and activities where you can network and learn in an informal and friendly environment.

Our programme offers a range of contemporary topics supported by exceptional speakers. You may be interested joining one of Specialist Interest Groups, linking in for regular employment law updates or in attending a one-off event. Whatever your choice is, we offer great opportunities to network, learn and develop and would love you to join us, or look forward to seeing you again, soon.

We work collaboratively with other branches in the region, learning from each other. This also gives our CIPD members access to further regional events and learning opportunities.

Birmingham HR Leaders Network
 

The HR leaders network is a specialist interest group that provides an opportunity for senior HR leaders/professionals (HR Directors, Heads of HR, Senior Business Partners) or board level colleagues with a strategic responsibility for their workforce.

The network is an opportunity to discuss, debate the people agenda and help shape the strategic future direction of the workforce through learning what different organisations are doing to promote people and add value to the bottom line. The CIPD Birmingham independents and self-employed group is recognised for its friendly, warm welcome and focus on Grow myself and grow my business. The group offers an inspiring programme of events that does just that! Join with likeminded people to:

• Gain clarity and learn from others
• Make great connections and grow your business

The independents and self-employed group exists to offers creative and innovative topics, nurturing and stimulating and active membership, the group provides a supportive and collaborative network for the self-employed and those considering self-employment. All CIPD members and their guests are welcome.

Greater Birmingham Engage for Success: Share + Learn + Inspire Network 

The Greater Birmingham Engage for Success network meets four to five times a year, and we want to involve you! If you are keen to understand or are involved in employee engagement in the workplace, then this is a great opportunity. The network is run by volunteers who are passionate about engagement and sharing the ideas of Birmingham practitioners. The aim of the network is to:

• Provide opportunities to network with like-minded people
• Share best practice using techniques that you can take back to the workplace
• Create space to reflect on what you are inspired to take back to improve employee engagement in your workplace.
