Welcome to the CIPD Branch in Southwest Wales webpage. As the chair of this dynamic and thriving community, I am delighted to extend a warm greeting to all people professionals in our region. Our branch is dedicated to fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and professional development within the field of Human Resources and Learning & Development.

The CIPD Branch in Southwest Wales, we understand the evolving landscape of the people profession and the importance of staying abreast of industry trends and best practices. Through our diverse range of events, workshops, and networking opportunities, we aim to provide a platform for HR professionals to connect, learn, and grow in their careers, whilst championing better work and working lives. Whether you are an experienced HR, or other specialism, practitioner or just starting your journey in the field, our branch offers a supportive environment for sharing insights, discussing challenges, and building a robust professional network.

Get involved

Our main focus is on the events we run between September and March each year. Our branch events provide learning and networking opportunities for HR and L&D professionals from across sectors and at various stages of their careers.

As always, we continue to champion better work and working lives and dovetail with the wider national networks of the CIPD in Wales. We do our bit to help support HR professionals and engage in wider conversations around issues that impact on the workplace.

The easiest way to get involved is to come to one of our events, where you will find a great welcome and engaging content from our speakers. If you would like to get even more involved and lend a hand, feel free to get in touch with our committee. We can tell you about the benefits of taking a leading role in helping other people professionals further their professional and career development and the advantages to your own learning and network.
