Understand the impact the changes to tribunal time limits will have on your practice
Since 1 October 2026 (9 November 2026 in Scotland), the time limit to bring most tribunal claims has increased to six months. This change applies to almost all claims, and all statutory claims, within the jurisdiction of the Employment Tribunal.
