Welcome to our branch

I am delighted to welcome you to our Humber Branch webpage. 
Having recently joined as the Chair of the CIPD Humber Branch, I am excited to get started, get involved and continue the great work of the branch.
As a People Professional, Learning and Development leader, and a CIPD member since 1996, I am passionate about the vital role that our profession plays in realising the potential of individuals in our region and beyond.

We would encourage you to get involved, be that through branch events or part of the Humber Branch team itself. I'm looking forward to meeting you and hearing how as a local branch we can support and benefit our members.

Get involved

Our branch mission is to support the CIPD by providing a forum for all people professionals in the Humber region that:

  • contributes to the development and promotion of good practice in the field of management and development of people by providing accessible opportunities for continuing professional development
  • supports local educational institutions that provide programmes for our student members 
  • acts as a voice of CIPD members in the Humber region and
  • promotes and upholds excellent working practices within human resource management and development.

Our committee is run by volunteers who are elected every year at our annual meeting. If you are interested in learning more about our activities or would like to get involved, or if you have a suggestion for an event topic that may be of interest to the branch members, please do get in touch with us.
