“The People Management Awards are a chance for HR, L&D and OD professionals to shine a spotlight on all their good work. Every year we see exceptional entries that reflect the influence and impact that the people profession has on organisations.”

Eleanor Whitehouse, Editor, People Management Magazine

The finalists for the CIPD People Management Awards have been revealed. A judging panel of 69 leaders from across the people profession have scrutinised hundreds of entries across 23 categories. The shortlisted teams will now present their entries to the judges, and the winners will be announced at a black-tie awards ceremony in London on 19 September.

The 23 categories reflect the range of issues impacting the people profession today and are based on the shared values and standards of the CIPD Profession map. Entries must reflect the CIPD professional principles by demonstrating that work matters, people matter and professionalism matters.

“Successful change relies on good insight, passionate people, involved stakeholders and an understanding that your first answer is not always the best. I'll be looking for these aspects in any winning entry.”

Alastair Gilchrist, NRLA – PMA judge
